Last night made me mad. Imagine how mad it made the Cubs hitters. Stupid idiot Kluber will be donged to the bench by the 4th inning.

See you guys tomorrow night for game 5.

The Cubs lost to the Dodgers by the scores of 6-0 and 1-0. One of those games was to the Dodgers ace and former CY winner. That guy got roughed up the next time out. And we all know how that series ended up.

We still have a fine chance to win this series. Win tonight and I love our chances. Lose and I'm not ruling out a comeback at all.

I think I was pretty "happy to be here" about the World Series. Mid NLCS, I thought the Indians looked pretty tough and I declared to myself that just ending the 71 year drought was enough. At some point, I looked at the fact that the Cubs were so far better than everyone else, and I did a 180 and thought "the Cubs got this in 5".

I wasn't nervous for any of the first 3 games. I wasn't upset after the game 1 loss. But last night really pissed me off. I don't want to deal with a future of this team losing this series. I know this team is young and very very good, but I think I was taking for granted that they'll get another chance. But that's not nearly a given. I want this NOW. No longer happy to be here.

On a certain level, I am still happy to be here. I couldn't stomach that second loss to LA, and I shut the game off early and went to bed. Same for a lot of the 2015 NLCS. But now I feel much more inclined to stick it out and take in every pitch, just because World Series. I'm interpreting that to mean happy to be here.

But I really don't want my limits tested. I'm much happier to be here when the dongs fly free and the universe rights itself with RD Cub victories. So more of that please.

Dickbag McHorseteeth twirls a gem (5.1 IP, 1R, 5H, 1BB, 3K...a gem for him), and the offense may or may not dong, but they will light up the scoreboard regardless. Cubs win 8-2.

They say it's a game of inches.

Game 3, and the Series thus far, in microcosm:

Cubs LH PH with RISP = "lined out sharply" to RF. 0 runs.

Indians LH PH with RISP = broken bat "RBI single" to RF. AB coming after baserrunner avoids pick off by a fingertip or two. 1 run.

Indians ace goes on short rest tonight. Hopefully his fastball is a couple inches shorter, curve flattens out a hair, two steamer doesnt bite back toward the plate quite as fiercely.

They say it's a game of inches. Cubs are still very much in this. Let's catch a break or two, shall we? GO CUBS!

The main thing that scares me is we were back to having the same awful approach we had in the the Kershaw version 1 game. I'm also concerned they are pressing being back at home. If they have some good AB's early I'll feel fine. Last night just never felt right.

I had to double check to make sure I didn't make this post. Everything you just said is completely what I have been going through but I haven't been able to articulate it in the right way.

This is the freaking year of the Cubs. Everything this year has been about the Cubs winning the title. During the season I noticed it but given how the playoffs are a crapshoot I didn't allow myself to lose perspective of our actual odds of winning it. Now we're here and 3 wins away. We can't rely on beating the crapshoot again next year or the year after. We have to do it now and then everything else is gravy. Come on guys lets do this.

We've still got this.

However, I may not post much as I'm sick as a dog. Will likely watch the game in bed again tonight.

Oh hey, guys. Just sitting at Wrigley Field for a world series game. Nbd.

Just a weeeeee bit jealous.

Of course, I'd probably puke on the people in front of me if I were there tonight.

Let Maddon know that Ski wants a lot of yelling tonight

Napoli-less lineup tonight, Santana at 1B.

So tonight's the night the Cubs probably pepper LF with chances, and Davis makes a few running catches that Santana couldn't hope to make. /s

And both games the Cubs won were by 4 runs.
