Someone explain to me this sequence. Tomlin has reverse splits and is pretty much cruising. Tito knows that Maddon is saving Schwarber for when Miller is out of the game. But somehow the sight of lefty Miguel Montero is enough to get Miller in the game, when we know Maddon will most likely bring a righty up to PH or if he doesn't at least he has Schwarber looming with no Miller the rest of the game.

 

I'm confused here

 

Edit: oh yeah and he takes out one of his 3 best hitters

 

The only logic I can find is that Joe knows Maddon won't pull Miggy because if he eventually needs to PH Schwarver he's gonna have to burn 4 guys for 2 AB.
