I'd say more likely than not, even just going off sign construction. Clearly the contemporary version was made by someone practiced in the art of building and maintaining an O-Meter. You don't learn that between games 1 & 2.

What happened to the Ivy turning red in October. Theo is a liar.

Friday will actually be the 3rd consecutive games at Wrigley that Hendricks is starting, and 4th in the last 5 Wrigley games.

they are now saying 40 mph winds blowing out. Is there any way to see historical wind records? I would have to guess that if the forecast is true, it would have to be among the top 5% windiest games ever at Wrigley Field (blowing out).

Anyone else relieved AF that Hendricks is taking the mound tomorrow? (BTW, I did post this before reading the thread.)

Dammit, I did. I'll serve my punishment by having to spend the day with John Lackey brushing his teeth. :(

Eh, get yourself a dremel-type power tool instead. It'll make floating the teeth quicker. Stick with a manual file, though, and you might not be done before the game.

Ground balls aren't affected by the wind. You have one of the better ground ball pitchers in the league going who also happens to be the best at inducing weak contact. He might give up a gopher ball or even 2 but I would guess that for the most part Hendricks is the ideal pitcher to have pitching in these conditions.

Is my theory on Hendricks correct?

That's what I was thinking. We'll see, I guess.

If I had to guess the lineup I'd say it's. Wouldn't mind seeing Baez moved down a notch or 2 tho for Contreras and even Soler.

Fowler CF

Bryant 3B

Rizzo 1B

Zobrist LF

Baez 2B

Contreras C

Soler RF

Russell SS

Hendricks P

(Did anyone notice that Miggy was .500 with 5 ABs v. Tomlin? I did read that right, didn't I? I <3 Willson, but maybe... )

Such a sight.

Soooo much prettier than Progressive Field. I preferred it when it was Jacobs Field and didn't have all those walls to make it look so claustrophobic.
