ok this one is over Perez is a terrible hitter terrible ...its just their night

You are so consistently wrong about everything that it's actually impressive

Schwarber just missed that. That was a hittable slider for strike 3.

Yup. Schwarber has looked as good against great pitching as we could realistically have expected.

Plenty of chances tonight against their absolute best pitching, 2 of their runs coming on complete fluke plays. Not worried about this series like at all.

Wait did Contreras really stay in to catch and therefore Maddon actually decided Ross was a better option to hit than Soler (albeit with the pinch hitter penalty)? Interesting

They had the lead run and tying run up in back to back innings. So it wasn't over then. This is coming down to a little nubber, hit by pitch in a pitchers count and inches on a hr.

even if their lead holds, I feel good about this. We made Miller work very hard and the first two runs were BABIP luck and a hit batter. We've had chances and over a series, those situations tend to fall to the team that makes them happen.

Glad everyone got a look at Miller, and some good ones at that. Dividends later.

He seems like Arrieta. Lots of walks if you can lay off the slider

For sure. The rest of their rotation is made of mediocrity and question marks. All Jake has to do tomorrow is be decent. And we'll split here.

Miller throwing so many pitches in the Kluber Game is good. Tire him out when they'll probably need him most.

And, wow, Schwarber has taken some great ABs. Has he swung at one ball out of the zone? He's showing a great eye against two of the toughest pitchers on the planet. And he hit the piss out of one ball. How is this possible?
