I get the actual leverage of this situation, but I'd think you'd at least want one of your best relievers warming up right now. (They're probably warming up and I just missed the shot)

Scwarber had better ab's then Bryant. I think he's fine personally

He's close, but just a hair off. This time last year he would have hit that last strike three 450 feet.

Yeah, his ABs have been fine, way better than I expected. I was wrong to think he'd be hopeless up there.

This whole lineup got a good look at Miller. He doesn't dominate the whole series this time around, no horsefeathers chance. Cleveland's roster isn't deep enough to hang with this team for 7 games. Still feeling good.

I wish I felt better about Arrieta.

I feel he's gonna give us at least what Lester did tonight. Which should be close to good enough against a lesser SP and a taxed Miller (if available).

Yeah, if streaky Jake shows up, we're down 2-0 and Hendricks gets the weight of the world on his shoulders.

I know, I'm pessimistic. I've been a Cubs fan for 30 years, deal with it.

You'll feel even better when the Cubs come back against Cody Allen. ;)

Not necessarily. With the state of the Indians' rotation, Jake could easily give up 4-5 runs and the Cubs could win.

Me too. I hope he doesn't look great only to walk two guys then throw a meatball on an 0-2 count that becomes a 3 run homer and then unravel.

Agree. I thought this game was a coin flip and that's fine. We have waaay more depth. And quality.

If the Cubs don't score in the 9th they will have been shut out in 3 of their last 6 games but still averaging 3.8 runs per game in that span
