He's running his mouth enough so that Smoltz isn't talking about how he'd strike out the hitter at the plate if you just made him your pitching coach, so that's an improvement.

Buck calls a good game, he just needs to not editorialize. So far I haven't noticed and to be honest his voice is synonymous with the highest profile games so it's already an improvement on Vasgersian.
