The win over the Cards gives the Cubs a 10-9 season series victory, which means the Cubs are 16-2-2 in season series this year. I'm not 100% sure, but that sounds pretty good. Lost to the Mets/Rockies and tied with the Braves/White Sox. Cubs wrap up the season on the road against two teams they're a combined 25-6 against this year. I'd like at least 101 wins because it would be the most since the 1906-1910 teams (08 excepted) and 103 would be cool just to not get to 60 losses.

Other than Coghlan, that is the best possible defensive lineup behind Hendricks as he makes his second to last start with an outside chance at a Cy Young. Good stuff.

Whoops you're right and I even commented on that. So yeah, I'm sure he will get a couple of starts this week but you have to balance remaining sharp with not aggravating the injury.

Javy deserved much better that AB. 12 pitch at bat with 3-4 hard hit foul balls including one that went 450 feet just foul. Finally lines one up the middle for an easy hit but it deflects off the pitcher right to the SS for an out.
