Cubs are 9-9 against the Cardinals this year and while I know it doesn't mean a whole lot, it would be much better win the season series against them.

 

CUBS are 98-56 when they play a baseball game

CUBS are 13-9 in September

CUBS are 9-9 against the Cardinals

CUBS are 56-24 at home

CUBS are 23-7 when Lester starts
