Maybe it was premature to launch Joe Nathan, but that is vastly preferable to the game of "Give Jason Motte and Rafael Soriano a million chances" from last year. We have an abundance of decent right handed relievers, especially with Carl Edwards coming into his own. Shoot the refuse into space.

The Cubs pursuit of a better 25th man on the roster has led to them potentially losing some decent players. And they still have a decision to make for Hammel on Tuesday and Cahill at some point in the near future. Obviously, this is better than the alternative of not having enough good players.
