I really don't understand how you can't understand what the issue is. It wasn't like he had three beers at a bar and had a DUI. His actions were deplorable and inexcusable. Really don't understand the inability from some to give this guy a chance to redeem himself through good living and as an aside, playing good baseball. I read through every document filed by the authorities in Florida and it leaves no doubt he was guilty of some wrongdoing in the DV incident - but there was a lot more confusion, contradiction. and recanting surrounding the events then there were facts. He served his punishment - lets save the torches and pitchforks for the next documentation of Chapman tuning up a lady, child, dog or even a cat. Doesn't the guy deserve a chance to turn himself around? Methinks he's in a pretty good atmosphere to help foster some positive life and attitude changes.

The Clayman has become the most predictable hurler in baseball. Don't know if there's another guy in the bigs the does exactly as expected every single time he's called upon. I've turned it into a positive though, given that I'm watching probably 90% of all the innings the team plays this season, I know I can turn the game off and do something more productive as soon as he takes the mound and catch up on things I'm neglecting. A quick glance at the box score in an hour or two will tell me precisely how he let the runs in. He's pretty amazing.

He is a bum on a good day - regular days we get what we got last night. Discuss please
