Obviously it's nothing to be excited about. He's maybe a little better than a replacement-level guy, after all. But, I guess it kinda makes sense if we keep Grimm down for a little while. Gives us an extra option at the end of the pen in case of injury or if we need to stretch out Montgomery or Wood or whatever. And if we don't need to do that and he sucks, we can just release him. Also, he might hold some value in being different. Maybe they view this as a match-up play, since he, well, throws differently than other guys.
