Especially when he sucks today and is getting squared up. I know he settled in the last few innings. But let him go take a rest. We were down two runs already, and it's not like this game makes or breaks our season.

Meh. Bad day from the offense. Lackey sucked early. But he wasn't pre-All Star uber-horrible. The three starters in this series fared well -- didn't walk many, mostly kept the ball in the park. This loss was like one of our losses from earlier in the year, where I just don't care too much. The sense of impending doom isn't hanging over this team anymore.

 

The Arrieta start is the one I'm really anxious about, though.
