Good thing about pushing Jake and Lester to next week is you can go 4 more games before having to make a roster decision with Ross coming off the concussion DL, although its almost certainly Kawasaki going back to Iowa.

 

Edit: Nevermind i see that Ross was activated as well and Kawaski optioned. I guess you can't let guys hang out too long on the Concussion DL

Yeah, I thought it was pretty clear it was gonna be a bit of time yet when they announced he wouldn't be ready in time for the ASG.

Yeah just thought it was weird that he went on a rehab assignment a week ago, he was still a possibility to play in the ASG as recently as saturday, and the Cubs were careful to say that there was no setback.

Ryan Rua was a freshman at my high school when I was a senior. Really weird to think that he became a major leaguer when at the time I don't think he was particlarly good on the Freshman baseball team.
