WTF ... this is ridiculous. This piece of sewage is a far beyond bad or laughable.

Circumstantially he didn't account for the L this evening but it wasn't because he didn't suck - again.

We put another righty on the roster today.

Indeed we did. That was for Fowlers slot. I'm suggesting strongly to bring up another - or a lefty if there's any available - and tell Clayton Richards he has to pay like any other attendee to be in the park for a major league ball game.

I am not sure why Joe is extending this many opportunities to turn it around. I mean he was pretty good last year but even at last year's value, he's not exactly invaluable.

I agree he probably feels like there is no better options so he has to keep coming out there, but also he probably also thinks that based on his history, his lack of success against LHB this year is an aberration and will eventually regress to his career numbers.

But Clayton Richards has totally lost whatever virtue he may have possessed. Now he just sucks every single time he's handed the ball.

Can't get anything of substance over the plate and then he brings the lollypop so as not to walk ANOTHER batter.

He's dead space on the squad and if there's a righty that can get guys out - we need him in the pen. Clayton Richard gets nobody out and bringing him in last night chasing a run almost put the game away if not for some 5 star throws by his defense.

You have to think this is just delaying the inevitable. It allows us to keep Richard on the back burner while we investigate Concepcion and Matusz to see if they can replace him. I would be a little surprised if Richard ever pitches for us again.
