Something I didn't notice last year...after coming back from his surgery, Niko shot 44.5% from 3 on 137 attempts...which is 6.3 (!!) per game.

that many attempts would've been good for top 15 in the league in a full season

for reference, curry shot 45.4% on 11 attempts per game (holy crap)

Yeah, IIRC, when Niko came back, he seemed to have lost his ability to do anything beside shoot 3's. He was so skinny and out of shape.

Also, I am extremely disappointed in all of you for failing to make this reference:

Ohhhh, now I get it. Though expecting it to be a timely reference people are itching to drop in 2016 is kinda weird.

I might be old now (horsefeathers) but I guess I didn't realize that classic South Park references were outdated.

Gosh, now I have to sit here and think about the fact that that quote is probably 20 years old.

It's an interesting combination of guys in terms of the "stars" but there are some fun/unique lineups of guys to be thrown out there that likely won't include Rondo, Wade and Jimmy all playing at the same time since they are so needing to be dominate with the ball to be effective.

yeah i honestly had no idea what the horsefeathers he was talking about at first either

nor would i have made the reference since i don't think i've watched more than 5 minutes of south park in total in my life.

The continuance of the Wade-Cutty bromance is a nice side effect of this signing as well.

i didn't even remember that. wow.

This has to be an age thing.

I'm guessing you guys are probably 10 years or so older than me, which means you would have been adults when South Park was really popular.

i'm 33 and i'm pretty sure south park was really popular when i was in like high school.

32 and South Park came out right before I started high school. I still remember all the commercials on Comedy Central leading up to the first episode. While I'm not a die hard fan, I've seen most of the first 7-8 seasons and an occasional new episode. Your use is just not funny.

Haha.

Whether or not you personally found it funny in this instance is not the issue. I just find it hard to believe that you could literally not understand the reference, and sit there going, "what?".

I'm 31 and South Park hit when I was in junior high, and I loved the first 2 seasons or so, and than kind of lost track of it.

Around that time I was visiting family in Iowa for a week and one day I wore a South Park t-shirt which was like a big collage of all of the characters including the random ones so it filled the whole front of the shirt. I'm not sure what happened that lead to it, but that day I ended up at the funeral for a pretty distant relative. I don't know how last minute we heard about it or why nobody told me, but now I get to tell people that I wore a South Park t-shirt to a funeral and I get to feel like a real idiot.

I only reference top shelf TV shows.

You're so clever and your jokes are so original!

Seriously, guys, I was really looking forward to getting through a whole thread without any of this dumb horsefeathers.

Just looking ahead to the 2017 free agent class...

I'd venture to say Steph Curry is probably staying in Golden State. Westbrook probably leaves OKC, but I'm not sure if he would fit with Wade and Butler. What about Chris Paul? He's obviously friends with Wade. That might be interesting. Besides that, there's Kyle Lowry.

Eh, if you have a chance to get Westbrook, worry about fit later. We'd only be looking at one more year of Wade at that point anyhow. That said, I'd guess Wade's got more pull for a guy like CP3 than Westbrook. When people on Twitter talked about his potential impact on free agency next offseason, CP3 is the guy that came to mind for me.
