What is crazy about Baez is...there were times early on this year where Baez was so intensely amazing at 3B defensively that some here were ready to push Bryant somewhere into the OF against lefties...and I didn't think they were completely crazy. Maddon did it a fair amount and no one blinked an eye...and now all the defensive highlights I can remember are him at 2B. I mean hell, remember this (at 3:20)?!

Yea I remember how going into the plays Javy was definitely going to be 3B for certain pitching matchups, like Lester, according to fan consensus.

I always thought it was silly that in hockey, football and basketball showboating is (mostly) accepted but in baseball you are a horrible person who deserves to be hit by a 95 mph thrown hard object because you enjoyed the difficult accomplishment of hitting a baseball really far.
