It's 2:37 AM in November 2047. A gray haired Garrett Richards shoots up in bed in a cold sweat. His wife Alexis wakes and notices the fear in his face.

Alexis: Was it that dream again, the one with the Cubs?

Garrett: I CANT GET OUT OF THE INNING. THEY JUST KEEP WORKING THE COUNT

Alexis: Now now, that was 31 years ago. There were 9 hall of famers on that team and they won 11 consecutive world series, they did that to everyone. Time to let it go.

She embraces him as he cries in her shoulder. Finally, he lays back down and goes to sleep. Alexis starts to lie back down, but then gets back up and turns on the night light and pulls out a picture of a young smiling Kyle Schwarber from behind her pillow and stares lovingly into his eyes.

What's beautiful about the Cubs offense is that they allow pitchers to chose their own method of execution. Pitch to us and your death by dongs will be swift and instantaneous. Avoid us and we will gouge you with a thousand paper cuts.

Heaney had .568 OPS lefty split with 7.25:1 K/BB last year; i think Schwarber sits this one out (and Szczur subs in?)

Montero can DH today with Ross behind the plate.

If we're sitting Schwarber because the pitcher is really good against lefties, why would we DH Montero?

I'm trying to keep Szczur out of the line up, so leave me alone.

This would have been the Javy 4 HR game. Oh well, it will have to wait a few weeks. #Dingers

Does it really matter who DH's? The Cubs will be facing the bullpen by the 3rd inning.

If they win tonight, they should already be promoted to Cubs! in the GT titles

I almost called them "Super Cubs" but figured a) everyone already knows they are Super Cubs and b) I'll wait until at least 2 games are played
