There's a dude on GRB with the name of "MAGA."

That's just too perfect

I just read most of the Dex thread at GRB, and "MAGA" didn't disappoint. I kind of like knowing some things are just self-evident & predictable.

Cardinals message boards are just so awful and over the top right now. Check out this thread on "Cards Talk" lol.

http://interact.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1272532

This thread and these responses all come from some user named catherine88:

Leftist Lynching Of Chris Bosio

Bosio tells his very plausible side of the story here to Bob Nightengale. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/m ... 742383002/ Detroit is a cesspool that really is part of the representative Republic that is the United States of America in name only. Al Avila is not qualified to be a GM but is there thanks to identity politics.

This thread offered another point of view from the other one on Bosio that had him tried, convicted and sentenced already. Identity politics were first employed by Trotsky in the Soviet Union so the banning of certain words regardless of context is a uniquely leftist tact...one that is en vogue throughout the corporate world.

Lynchings both literal or figurative both lacked due process. Bosio being publicly fired in this way may end his career and that is a professional form of lynching employed by the left today.

At will? Bosio had a guaranteed 2 year deal. They could have fired him over philosophical differences but they played up a racist angle that did not exist so he may never work in the industry again because uninformed SJWs like bogetty will demand it.

That is how lynching is done in 2018. The fake media is the rope.

There have been hundreds of race hoaxes in the past 2 years, this will be proven as yet another. These race hoaxes and the attention they get take away from the reporting of real race incidents that occasionally happen although most are directed against conservatives so the media does not care.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

It's cute when they think they're being all coy with their not-so-secret neo-nazi bull horsefeathers.

They drop this gem just a little further down the page:

This is the saddest troll cliche ever.

Dex is definitely getting traded this offseason and maybe Tommy Pham too. I've heard Pham is pretty upset with organization and their fans clearly don't appreciate them.

I doubt the Cardinals will be able to successfully sign/trade for a prominent African-American player for a long time.

Sure they will, they'll just have to pay them more.

Also, those real race incidents are also hoaxes.

Uh, you might want to edit your quote tags so it doesn't look like you're attributing that garbage to Regular Show.

I think both Mo and Matheny are getting axed at the end of the season now...

I’m actually kind of holding out hope they somehow get a wild card spot but lose the game. In the process they mortgage some of the future and it buys Mozeliak and Matheny another season.

That’s diabolical. I like it.

Agreed - both Mo and Matheny will be in the trunk at the end of this year.

I’d be surprised if Mo got sent packing but Matheny is a couple years overdue. I was of the opinion when Luhnow left that he was likely the brains behind the operation and it appears that was spot on.

Matheny needs to step aside so they can bring in John Rocker to manage the team

That or have Bud Norris be a player/manager.

There is a good article on Fangraphs right now about the dumb comments made by Mozeliak.

https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/dexter-fowler-and-the-cardinals-foul-up/

The article is solid and summarizes it well, but it's the comments section that is PURE GOLD lol:

See, there’s this thing called sports talk radio. They need interviews. That’s all they do, ad nauseum. If you’re an MLB GM and you don’t grant interviews you’re aloof. If you grant interviews and say nothing everybody knows it. If you grant interviews and say something you get reviewed on sports websites. Like this one.

“The Cardinal way” traditionally meant a way of preparing minor league ballplayers for the major league club. But then Matheny wrote a book and now “the Cardinal way” is associated with goodness and uprightness and virtue and honesty and…Even some Cardinals fans, maybe lots of them, think it means the latter. I’m not one of them. If it truly means the latter, than Cardinal fans deserved to be ridiculed around baseball for their arrogance. I note that the writer of this article, Mr. Jaffe, has clearly bought into “the Cardinal way as morality.”

Thanks, also, for the link to the Sports on Earth article pointing out the “problems” in the Cardinals fan base due to its rural component. I mean, I guess the Cardinals can’t help it their fan base is racist because of all those rural Trump supporters. No doubt many Trump supporters are racists. And many Obama and Clinton supporters are self-avowed socialists who won’t admit to being fascists or sexist. Fact is many Democrats are racists, too, but they get away with it by voting “correctly.” Absolution-by-voting.

But the Sports on Earth article only alludes to the racism of rural Cardinals fans.

Liberal journalists (I know, that’s redundant) believe they can casually insert Trump into EVERY article or discussion without politicizing it. But with your link to the Sports on Earth article you let the cat out of the bag. -27 2 hours ago
