Wednesday morning: They lose today, plus Bucs won't get swept at home.

 

Thursday morning: I hope Washngton not only sweeps them but bombs their staff

 

Thursday night: Nats will take 3/4 in this series.

 

Saturday afternoon: And the Cubs are going to lose today. Good day

 

Saturday evening: Or maybe not

 

Saturday night: Tomorrow. They won't sweep 4 games from Nats. I predict Jake gets rocked for his first loss of the year.

Now the possibility exists that neither the Pirates nor the Cardinals will even win a Wild Card. Fangraphs has both of them at 85 wins, which very likely wont be enough. This is a delicious possibility. Before the season I thought, sure, we'll win the division, and the other Central teams can fight over the wildcard scraps...but them both being locked out would be soooo beautiful.

I don't go there, so I don't know who here has accounts there. I'm sure there is some civilized discussion, but I think a season like this one would require great self restraint to not gloat a bit

I don't think it is wrong to post there. I just personally am more entertained seeing two Cardinals fans argue over whether the Cubs are a 100-win team or a 110-win team, as they did today, than seeing a Cubs fan I know show up to say "well, actually..."
