USMNT looking great

/s

Not what you guys wanted in the buildup to the WC.

I’m pleased with the new youngsters in the Belgian side,  De Cat playing alongside Witsel was a bit strange though  ( Witsel scored his first for Belgium before De Cat was even born).

Italy’s qualification for this World Cup hinges on a must win game v Bosnia, and Bosnia have chosen to host them on the biggest sh!thole pitch in all of Europe lol.

It doesn't look nearly that sketchy on TV.  Italy up 1-0 down a man for the second half should be interesting.

And the least deserving nation has qualified for the World Cup, Sweden has beaten Poland 3-2 after only getting 2 points in their qualification group.

OMG!!!

YES!!!

When the World Cup expanded to 48 nations, Italy were literally the first one I thought about and how they would benefit the most. I guess I was wrong lol.

Lol Italy missed out again. The Materazzi curse. Ever since they won in 2006, they got bounced in the group stage twice and missed out the next three.

Not a traditional group of death in that there are no heavyweights in the group, but it’s shaping up to be the most difficult to win it. Should make for some interesting matches.

Arsenal are really putting their supporters through the wringer with how they’ve responded to Manchester City holding the door open for the league title all season.

So wild that Leicester City is going down to League One.  What a roller coaster for that club.

At least they played a role in who qualified for the playoffs. Their draw ensured Hull finished 7th and Wrexham finished 6th.

There's still 2 games left.

Looks like it’s between West Ham and Tottenham. Forest lead Sunderland 4-0 at halftime.

Was hoping Spurs would have a chance to catch Forest since they still play at Chelsea, at ManU and vs Bournemouth (competing for a European spot), but today ended that hope.

Pretty much the final stand for Spurs tomorrow. If you can't beat Wolves, just pack it in and prep for the Championship. You're not winning at Chelsea. They'll probably fail to win every remaining game except for the Spurs game. And you're not winning at Villa. That means they have to win at least two of at Wolves, vs Leeds and vs. Everton.

And while I'm well aware they could win tomorrow, in now way should Spurs be -145 to win that game while Wolves are +360. Sure, Wolves have nothing to play for, but they've had nothing to play for since December. In their last 7 games, they tied Arsenal, beat Liverpool and beat Villa all at home. Meanwhile Spurs haven't won since Dec 28. Like I said, Spurs could win, but those odds are out of whack.

Kinsky keeping Spurs alive in the PL wasn’t on my bingo card.

That late West Ham goal was a swift kick to the dick. Pretty annoying that West Ham, Forest and Leeds have all played way better the last two months than they did the first 5-6 months.

That’s why you don’t do pitch invasions when you lead by one goal lol.

Rochdale scored to go 1-0 ahead in the 95th (one minute left to play) and their supporters ran onto the pitch to celebrate as the goal meant they were promoted, if the match ended 1-0. The game resumed with an extra 5-6 minutes thanks to the pitch invasion and York scored the goal above, which promoted them and not Rochdale (of course there are playoffs).

A wild league campaign. York 108 points, Rochdale 106 points, Carlisle United 95 points and Boreham Wood 90 points were the top 4.
