I hope the US players do whatever they can to get another goal kick. The protocol is irrelevant at this point. They know the game is over so they're going to chant because what the horsefeathers do they care if the match gets abandoned. This will never stop until they make Mexico forfeit competitive matches or boot them out of a competitive tournament.

The US has not lost a competitive match against Mexico since July 2019, almost 5 full years ago.
