I think that being a USMNT fan is bad, objectively. Somewhere, a big soccer doofus found a monkeys paw, because we keep getting what we want (world class players at mega clubs, winning the champions league, etc) and yet we become more miserable than ever. It’s never fun for more than two weeks at a time.

That's a bad injury for Weston - hopefully he's back for WC (he should be - my daughter had this same injury a couple years ago and she was back in 4 months and fully in 6 so presumably with advanced treatment, he'll be ready.
