ugh. what a downgrade. zaidman is terrible.

 

i can't stand grote so i don't really care either way

 

i find his inflection and the way he exaggeratedly enunciates many words insanely grating.

 

i actually think i was confusing Zaidman and Dickerson from ESPN. is Dickerson the insanely meatbally dude that was one of the more irrationally anti-cutler guys out there? (i realize there's a lot of guys that fit that bill.)

 

i do know zaidman's voice annoys me.

 

yeah i think dickerson was meatbally on cutler

 

looking back, though, i'm not so sure it was wrong to be meatbally on cutler (even though i love him and i don't think he was put in a great position to succeed). he was polarizing and the jerkiness/smart ass-iness that we all love rubbed a lot of teammates the wrong way (while others loved him). that said, if he'd been good enough, nobody would care. urlacher was an horsefeathers too.

didn't see it posted anywhere else, but 670 is flipping Grote from Cubs pre/postgame to the Bears beat and moving Zaidman over to the Cubs. yuck.

really? I actually liked Grote -- thought he was one of the few guys on 670 that could do that job well, and I thought he did. the way Zaidman talks makes Grote sound like a damn hero, in comparison.

I didn't mind Grote. He seemed to play pretty well off Coomer and (especially) Pat. Plus, the dude sold the crap out of that ad for Grossinger Auto Group.

It's been mentioned but his promos are the worst. The way he says "Cubs" is like he's trying to talk while simultaneously making the sound Homer Simpson makes when eating chips in space. "The Chicago CUPS."

 

But I never mention this because I think I'm the only person who thinks Len's voice is annoying (even though I think he's a great broadcaster otherwise).

i have no idea what that first part means.

Len has a nerdy voice, but he's great.

Grote was just kinda there for me, didn’t really move the needle for me either way and I didn’t notice anything weird like that but now I probably will. I hope the new guy isn’t a bum as I have no idea who he is.

Berner said in a statement. “We are taking this action because the economic terms of these legacy contracts guarantee that we lose money and, as such, continuing them in their current form is not in Cumulus’ best interests. … We will continue to take the necessary steps to strengthen our competitiveness and position Cumulus for continued profitability.””

Bulls don't draw good TV numbers?

 

i guess itll depend on if this really does end up being the quickest tank ever or not. i didn't mean to say it was a complete trash product without the cubs but
