Agreed. I am sure Shaw and a few others do not agree with Pride week or a Pride night. But it doesn’t matter. If there is a night at Wrigley in support of any democraphic, the players should honor that demographic and move on. And it is the manager and the FO responsibility to make sure the players respect that demographic that evening. No one is asking Roupp, or Shaw or anyone else to change their beliefs. They are asking them to honor the beliefs or the culture of whoever is being honored on that particular night.

There’s probably a whole line of Brewers draftees who are in the pipeline to be successful MLB players while Cubs draftees will flame out.  The failures start there and just propagate all the way to the majors.  Jed can’t fix that. He has no clue how to build a solid system top to bottom.  Pisses me off to no end.  If Miz leaves for big bucks the Brewers will just bring up the next guy.
