Best part is how he keeps going for first like horsefeathers wasn't about to go down.

I think the best part was when he bunted to first solely to crush the guy that pitched behind him.

Right, but then he doesn't just keep wailing on him as you'd expect; he's seemingly all, "surely everyone will see I was justified in my skilled bunting and subsequent clobbering of the pitcher, and I will now be able to reach 1B without incident." Cracked me up.

“He confirmed it,” Goldsmith said. “He said, ‘I’m Uncle Vogey.’ It’s unbelievable.”

Yes, Kikuchi named his son after his teammate. And he didn’t choose the name just because he liked the sound of it.

“My wife and I were bouncing around a few names to go with Leo, and I suggested Daniel,” Kikuchi said through translator Justin Novak last week. “He has been such a good friend. I want Leo to grow up with a big heart and soul like Vogey.”

Great read. Uncle Vogey seems like a cool dude lol.

That's a really low franchise single season total.

It took the franchise literally 50 years to have a 40 home run season, its legitimately astounding

Jorge Soler now has the Royals single season HR record.

I've always wanted the best for Soler. Glad he's had success there

I'd be legitimately happy if Soler is one day known as "Mr. Royal"
