I keep getting a notification every time something is posted in the college basketball thread for some reason, not a big deal but it's only happening there every time there's a new post and nowhere else.

I did and also got the 2 in the blackhawks thread just now.... so, idk. I don't get them from any of the new ones in the social, transactions, cubs or minor league thread tho.

Got it, that did it. Weird it was only notifying on new posts/threads in the Other Sports forum but whatever.

Ugh, what a nightmare. I also wouldn't recommend HostMonster as they just screwed me over. Didn't notify me that my account was set to expire (in the past Ud get emails for about 15 days out). Account lapsed, and within 2 days, deleted everything. They kept backups, so when I renewed, I was able to restore from one.

 

Only problem, all 3 backups they had were corrupt, and the external drive I had w/ a backup was toast. I had a backup of my MySQL databases, so I've been trying to recreate my sites based on that. My portfolio is gone, though.

 

Anyways, if you need any help, let me know. I'm good at horsefeathering stuff up, too!

Well, I've been working on the archives. Everything is working...except viewing posts. But hey, you can see all the topics! And private messages are still there.

Let's say that I get the "archives" working 100%. What are people's feelings about leaving that as archives and starting a new post history here? Some of those tables are over 60,000,000 records at this point. It'll be a lot less load on the server to start fresh.

 

Let me know if you have strong feelings.

Huh, I figured the virus protection issue was resolved since my work unblocked the site over the weekend. You're definitely right about the redirection though.
