Unreal. You couldn't draw up a more unbelievable collapse than that.

Chip shot FG missed then blane Gabberts destroys you twice down the stretch

Lot of blame to go around in this one. Gould is one of the highest paid kickers in the league though, can't miss either of the FGs he missed today.

5-7 and could easy be 8-4 if they didn't blow 3 games they had a 90+% chance of winning late in the 4th.

im completely dumbfounded but at least I don't have to scoreboard watch again

Where the hell was the flag for slamming him down?

This league is such [expletive] when it comes to protecting players. How the hell was he allowed to come back?

If that was Brady or Rodgers, that [expletive] would've been called.

I was wrong when I said it should not be close enough to be factored by Fox. Gould already missed one from there.

Gould makes too much on a rebuilding team, let him go.

So the Bears have just gone through a 9 games stretch where 8 of the games have literally come down to the last minute and change

OAK: GW FG with 7 seconds left

KC: GW TD with 23 seconds left

DET: GL FG in OT

MIN: GL FG with 4 seconds left

SD: Game tying/winning drive ends on downs with 1:17 left

STL: Blowout win

DEN: Game tying 2 pt conversion fails with 24 seconds left

GB: Game winning drive ends on downs with 29 seconds left

SF: GL touchdown in OT

4-4 in those games so i guess what you'd expect playing as many games that could go either way as they have

Didn't Gould have another game this year where he missed some field goals? He's gone next year.

Yes, early in the year as I remember it. He's too expensive to keep around if he doesn't nail pretty much every field goal. Today is going to weigh heavily against him.

Heartbreaking game to attend. Fox too conservative again, played not to lose. Cutler had a pretty bad game, but fans around us were far more outspoken about Fox. The overall attitude toward Jay definitely seemed more positive compared to years past.

This season kinda reminds me of Green Bay's 2008, Rodgers' first year. Lost a bunch of close games they should have won and ended up 6-10. Good news is they went 11-5 the following season, but of course a lot of that was because Rodgers became Rodgers. We play the NFC East and AFC South next year, which are right now the two worst divisions in football, so we'll see.
