Lol ruling on the field stands

Hell of a drive tho

I wanted the overturn to burn more clock.

Yeah, that probably ended up helping Stanford.

So Oklahoma is in for sure as is the winner of MSU-Iowa. Bama and Clemson are also in with wins. I assume if one of those loses, OSU gets the other spot.

Sounds right

I think that's how it should go, but I'd bet UNC would take Clemson's spot, and wouldn't be shocked to see Florida or Stanford take Bama's.

Stanford I could see (they'll jump to 7 after this week) and UNC maybe, since they'll probably move up a couple spots this week (ahead of Florida and Ok St, and maybe Michigan) and will get a conference title bump. But Florida seems like they'll be too far down barring them absolutely crushing Bama.

If OSU wasn't the defending champ, I think it would be less likely they get in with a loss. The committee's given them a bump all year and it wouldn't shock me if that happened again if one of those two loses.

I don't think there's ever been an unluckier 10-win team than ND this year. After being given a few minutes to let it sink in, I even can somewhat appreciate the way the college football gods trolled ND by having them be hurt by seemingly benefiting from a strange replay decision at the goal line against Stanford - especially since ND's bowl destination was changed in absolutely no way by what happened in this game. They were going to a non-playoff major bowl before, and because everyone behind them got [expletive] destroyed today, they will be going to a non-playoff major bowl now. I just hope Temple beats Houston so they're not stuck playing a non-P5 team that will enable the CFB world at large to completely ignore anything they do well in said bowl. Edited by Andy

Stanford takes Bama's. Florida is flat-out bad and shouldn't be in the playoff even if they somehow stumble ass over tea-kettle into a win over a sleepwalking Bama.

Lol the LSU AD just said "Les Miles is our football coach and will continue to be our football coach"

Wonder who said no

Jimbo. 100% Jimbo

Absolutely. If Jimbo had said yes, Les was gone.

Ohio State has a horseshoe up their ass and undoubtedly will make it in after all the conference championships end in upsets

I imagine the committee would use the conference champion justification to vault Stanford past them if they beat USC. So they'd probably need 2 upsets.

But Alabama is going to beat Florida by 100, so I wouldn't worry.

Thanks to the Sugar Bowl's SEC/Big 12 deal, Ole Miss will probably get a major bowl again, so that's kind of neat for them even though it sucks for whoever finishes in the last spot out of the NY6.

If you told me Ole Miss would beat Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State in the same season and would have three losses, I'd say that's impossible, but yet it happened.
