I imagine Oklahoma State jumps to 4 if they beat Baylor. Otherwise, I wonder if they jump MSU over Iowa for the 4 spot. I don't think Oklahoma can really move ahead of either of them (or a winning OK ST)unless they destroy a Boykin-less TCU

Oklahoma State jumps them for sure with a win. Not sure about Michigan State.

 

I'm now thinking there are scenarios where Iowa gets left out undefeated ( though I doubt it) but also where they get in with a loss still.

If it does happen we'll get an expanded playoff in a few years. Though, i think that will happen eventually anyways.

BT Champ Michigan would have a tough road to hoe. I think an Iowa team who loses to Nebraska next week would be even tougher.

I didn't understand OSU not throwing deep, especially with the wind. I think MSU got a little bit of a break this year in that their biggest weakness is the home run ball. Michigan is not very good at them and OSU didn't try them.

 

I think what makes me more happy than just winning today's game is that MSU looks poised to not drop off that much next season.

ND has been playing 1 home game a year at some other place for 6 years. Did same thing with Maryland at FedEx 4 years ago

I understand the concept of "neutral site games" (though I hate them with all my being), but doing this in the other team's city is just bizarre

If these scores hold I'm gonna guess it's Clemson, Alabama, Notre Dame, MSU, OU, Iowa in that order. Iowa doesn't deserve to drop but I think the committee will have a hard time ignoring MSU winning in Ann Arbor and Columbus and OU beating Baylor and TCU in back to back weeks.
