I'm pretty sure that not one opposing fan base has enjoyed watching their team play Indiana this year. Even the Penn State game they were within a score until less than a minute left in the 3rd quarter.
this game seems one sided in favor of Indiana. Yet are losing. Bad offensive interference call

Ohio State has played 10 mediocre to bad teams and has pulled this half-ass garbage in like 8 of those games. That's what life is like when you give yourself a 3 game season.

If they weren't defending champs and were judged solely on the merit of this season, they'd be around 9 or 10 in the rankings

Or 5th. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/sagarin/

The committee uses more of an eye test than pure numbers. OSU hasn't looked particularly good beating just about anyone this year

That's just not true. And exactly where the "eye test" fails.

When people say eye test they infer ignorance about what actually happens.

Besides, you just said based on merit only they'd be 9th or 10th. Computers they're more like 5th, and to the committee they're 3rd. And to AP voters, they'd been first. So what merit do you base your ignorance on this time?

How many OSU games have you watched this year? They've basically underachieved their way to a 10-0 record. Their OOC was garbage, and they haven't played the only two decent teams in the east yet. I'm not saying keep them out of the playoffs, I'm saying they're getting a bump from last year. If they run the table be beat Iowa, by all means put them in

I would not be at all surprised if Indiana upset any team in the country. But they keep losing and will probably lose this one. They need to figure out how to play some defense.

Michigan men are so predictable. With 3 mins to go in the half and a 12 point lead, they turn off the offense. End up giving up a big score before half.
and then make me eat crow

Also, Jordan Howard is really [expletive] good at football.

He's one of the top 5 draft eligible RBs. Really good get for Wilson and IU. Also, goes to show how underrated this OL is. They've played together for the most part for 3 years now. And Tevin Coleman got a lot of credit for his 2000 yard season, but these guys are doing it again with Howard. Spriggs is a top 50 pick. Feeney is a top 100 next year, if he stays in school.

Every time I watch Michigan their defense gives up huge plays. When I don't watch they shut the other team out. I keep this.king they are overrated. But I haven't seen them when they dominate

They've had a few injuries and the lack of depth has hurt them a little.

I can't believe they passed

At that point, you had a QB that hadn't thrown the ball since 14:23 was left in the 4th quarter. If anything, you gotta run because you expect rust. If you threw on 3rd, I understand throwing again on 4th. But to try to have your QB throw a pass for the first time in an hour of real time on 4th down to win/lose a game is iffy at best.

When Michigan scored in 2OT I said there was no way UM was getting the ball back. Either they would somehow stop IU (I was thinking TO) or the Hoosiers were gonna score and go for 2.

Mad props to IU, good game

Michigan's defense was selling out against the run on that play. If IU was going to pass, they should have done a rub or some play to take advantage of single coverage. All that said, they should have run

Scratch Stanford from the title race. They lost at home to Oregon.

Not before the Pac 12 refs desperately tried to help with a ridiculous PI call on Oregon.

ND's SOS going down in flames today. I'm going to be cursing those [expletive] drops and fumbles at Clemson forever.

With LSU losing, the SEC will only get one. I think StNford losing potentially hurts ND, but the other options besides ND are looking real thin. Clemson, Big Ten champ, SEC champ, and a Big 12 champ or ND. Utah still has a shot, but I think they would have to hope for something funky in SEC or Big Ten.

I think the only way ND gets into the title game now is if Clemson loses the ACC title game. Even then, it might be tough. Oklahoma/OK State, Iowa/OSU/MSU, Alabama/Florida should get the other 3 spots.

I wouldn't say it's the only way. OK State and Oklahoma still have Baylor/TCU and each other on the schedule. Agreed on the Big Ten. Obviously an outside shot Michigan messes everything up bc if OSU wins at home against Sparty, they control the rest of their destiny to win the Big Ten but they'd have to win at Happy Valley, against OSU who has never lost a regular season Big Ten game with Urban Meyer as coach and against Iowa with a playoff spot at stake for them.

And yeah the SEC champ will get the 3rd spot unless Florida loses to FSU then turns around and beat Bama (and even then a 2 loss SEC champ might get in over a 1 loss ND because SEC)

Edit: long rambling post to say that I still think the Big 12s spot is in jeopardy because I could see ND getting in over any of the teams at 1 loss except probably OU

ND is in at 11-1 if Oklahoma and Oklahoma State lose sometime in the next 2 weeks, or if Michigan wins out. If OU wins out I get worried. (I have to root for Michigan, what the hell is this)
