What is the point of Montee Ball. Let's let Langford take 80% of the carries and see where it goes.

There still has to be a backup.

Don't they have that fast guy who used to play for ATL?

Yeah Jacquizz Rodgers is still on the roster I believe.

He's on IR with a broken arm.

The Bears have Antone Smith, who also played for Atlanta. I don't know if he's "really fast" but I remember him getting a couple long TDs the last couple years. They also have KaDeem Carey, who was drafted last year, and I don't believe has seen the field at all this year. Really odd that they've risked losing guys before they got back to the practice squad, while keeping Carey who has 0 value.

Ride the jersey wave.

Yea, they've been keeping Carey around who has zero ST value. If he wasn't around to step up into a backup role post-Forte I have no idea what they've been doing with him. Might as well give him about 25-30% of the plays and see how he looks or cut him.

searched all forums and didn't find this posted. i know its sports mockery, but it's nice piece on Amos

I said it just a few posts above but seriously, if Kevin White isn't a bust, I LOVE Pace's first draft.

He really needs a star in this coming draft, either defensively or at LT. Last draft was nice, but White is the only one with a shot to be a star player and he's off to a bad start and hopefully will be playing 2nd fiddle to Jeffery his entire time here.

Star can be a fairly loosely definable and subjective term, but I think White and Langford both could be that.

And, hell, if Amos is grading out that well already, who the hell knows?

True. And I forgot about Langford. He can be a star just by virtue of being a RB.

Can't decide whether I want to go to this game or not. I'm not inspired to go. I've been to Qualcomm enough times that going potentially one last time just because the Chargers might move isn't nearly inspiring enough. If it was during football Sunday, I definitely wouldn't be going. But, the only game left for the week, I don't know. Maybe. Nah. Probably not. That settles that. Unless I change my mind.

Why did I just see a commercial featuring Ditka in a packers sweater?

I saw a mid-season mock the other day that had us taking Ezekiel Elliott at 10. Lord...

10 seems about right for Elliott.

I guess I would have some reservations about Eliott due to receuving/blocking concerns, but he's looks like he's gonna be a durable and very good NFL RB. He could easily be the best pick in the 9-12 range.
