Well, Hendricks wasn't absolutely terrible there. He had nice movement and location on some pitches, but can't afford any more meatball fastballs over the middle of the plate.

Last night's game made me really upset, and I'm not as mature enough as I'd like to handle that anger reasonably, so the game goes off and my irrational ranting within the game threads doesn't happen.

Yeah, top of the first was a great chance to jump out ahead. Worried Cubs will rue that one -- though maybe the bats will wake up. They need to. Because I'm guessing the Cards are going to score more than one against Hendricks.

 

And, yeah, I have half expected a Hendricks-Hammel piggyback today...though I don't know what that would do to Game 4.
