The Chiefs aren't good enough to be 10 point favorites over anyone. But they do present a lot of really terrible matchups for the Bears. Justin Houston vs. the Bears OTs, and they have an elite TE and super shifty RB...2 things the Bears have always struggled against way back to the Wannstedt days. If the Bears can block Houston, or at least block everyone else pretty well and give him extra attention, I think Cutler can throw all over this defense.

I'm not surprised at the 10 point spread. The Chiefs are that team that is 75% of the way there but just can't put the rest of it together.

I grew up a Bears fan first, no question, but was always a Chiefs fan as my AFC team. And now I live in KC and became a Chiefs STH. This game doesn't mean much for the Bears this year. The Chiefs still have a chance to put something together after a really tough three weeks of opponents. So, Okoye or Sayers jersey at Arrowhead on Sunday?

Gotta remember where I come from. The Comet most likely.

An NFL team that isn't only 75% there isn't good enough to be a 10 point favorite. And the Chiefs haven't had any tougher of a first four games than the Bears have.

Could the Bears even get a 6th round pick for Willie Young at this point? He was playing well before the injury last year in the 4-3 but I doubt any team is willing to part with anything for a 30 year old coming off an achilles injury.

That's true about the schedules. What I was saying is they are a better 1-3 team than the Bears at this point and it's not close.

I'm curious why you think the Chiefs might put something together this year. The opening schedule, sure. I don't know much about the Chiefs -- just wondering what you see. There are a few teams ahead of them for WC who look better to me right now.

Aside from the offensive line, which we all know is kinda important, the pieces are there. Charles, Maclin, Kelce, a QB that is good enough though he runs really hot and cold. Sometimes it feels like Reid hands over the play calling to an eleven year old playing Madden for quarters or even games at a time.

The defense has had a rough two weeks at GB and Cincy, but they have some players and can put some serious pressure on the QB, led of course by Houston.

3 out of first 4 were on the road, though they are losing a home game to London this year. Schedule is quite a bit softer from here on.

Chiefs will win because it's at Arrowhead, but at this point it's not even totally inconceivable for them to finish last in their division. At full strength (healthy Cutler and Jeffery) these offenses are comparable, not to mention if White was healthy too.

The Chiefs obviously have the better defense, but considering their rough start and the Bears slight improvement, I'm thinking the gap isn't what it used to be.

They're still a better overall team, but I'd take Jay Christler over Alex Smith all day long. Always.

Yeah 10 points is a bit much. Hopefully the Bears can surprise, I plan on being very hungover after the Cubs go up 2-0 on the Cards the night before.

Sadly, I would too. That says more about Smith than it does Cutler though.

Bears sign Barrett Jones to the practice squad. I wanted this guy really bad a few years ago, but he's been hurt his entire career, maybe he can turn it around. he's just a quintessential nasty dude.

Makes sense. Need a guy to snap to Claussen for prep team.

Has Grasu been working with the first team and Slauson back at guard?

I saw a tweet that mentioned Grasu working with the first team and referred to him as "C Hronis Grasu", so that would be my assumption.
