Reading over the replies, apparently the run was a team effort. My bad.

Yeah, Grimm walked a guy on 4 extremely close pitches, Montero made a horrible throw and Castro didn't block it, and then he got a flyout, a groundout, and a K. Not really on him that the run scored.

Not completely, but don't walk the [expletive] leadoff man.

He followed the walk with a flyout, groundout, and K. Hard to pin any of that run on him, otherwise we're putting the standard at a 1-2-3 inning for him not to be at fault.

It just sucks that these loses aren't coming from us being outplayed, but from us giving away the [expletive] game. It happened twice over the Phillies series and it's happening again tonight.

Or less than 9BB/9IP.

I realize that. Still, don't walk the [expletive] leadoff man.

Whelp.

Win tonight, scrubs. I'm seriously getting sick of this 'Win a bunch of games, then lose a bunch of games' pattern.

[expletive] these guys, they're blowing it. Arrieta and Lester are only going to start 6 more games. Even if they go 6-0 in those games, they'll have to win 2-3 more. Hard to see where they will come from with this [expletive] bullpen.

lol... We tied the game because of two wild pitches!

This is not going to be received well here

You can forget about catching the Pirates if they don't win the next 3.

We need to probably win 2/3. All 3 isn't necessary though it would definitely help.

I can't tell if this is a serious post or a joke

The bullpen gave up one unearned run in over 5 innings. If you want to blame someone, blame the guy who sucked - again - and forced us to rely on the bullpen so heavily.

Now that the Cubs are good again, the Pirates are really annoying. I'm glad that they're good again, but not 'second best team in baseball' good.
