I don't think that's right...I think he was better, but he was still pretty below average in August and September.

751 OPS against in August and 555 in Sep/Oct.

2.86 and 2.20 ERA in those respective months.

Nope. He was great in August and Sept, 2.49 ERA in 50 2/3 innings with a WHIP of 1 (51 walks and hits).

EDIT: That includes a decent start with us. With Oakland it was 9.53 ERA and a WHIP over 2.
