Why is there a secondary shark mascot in there? Whatever, congrats Pelicans!

Rally Shark came to the Pelicans in 2008 to add some excitement to the late innings of ballgames at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. This highly streamlined, cartilaginous Pelicans fan lives below the left field bleachers to be close to the visiting clubhouse where he can easily taunt opponents.

Rally surfaces when the Pelicans need runs late to send the fans into a frenzy. He loves signing autographs, throwing things into the stands, and he's been known to take his shirt off and run around the outfield from time to time (though the Pelicans discourage such behavior). Rally is most proud of his dorsal fin and dreams of showcasing his dance moves in a made-for-Broadway interpretive-dance remake of "Jaws" someday.

Deuce is in his seventh full-season as the Pelicans' on-field best friend fresh off a successful sixth season in 2014. Part bat boy, part ball caddy, and all fun, Deuce has been active at Pelicans games since the 2008 season when he was a puppy.

The English yellow lab has mastered the art of delivering new baseballs to the Carolina League's finest umpires as well as his postgame victory lap around the bases. When he's not performing at Pelicans games, Deuce can be found napping either at home or in the Pelicans front office.

And last, but certainly not least, a big THANK YOU to Raisin for providing yet another year of these threads and keeping this subforum going.

Left Shark was only moonlighting as a Super Bowl halftime dancer. This is his day job.

I like this explanation better than the real one.

Seconded. Thanks, Raisin. I love following along with our minor league clubs, and I love all the info I get on this forum. So thanks to everyone that chimes in here. But, mainly, thanks to Raisin.

I seriously don't know what I'd do without this forum. Thank you.

And thanks should also go out to ctcf for filling in. Thank you both for providing so much information and making these discussions possible.

No problem, guys. And definitely thanks to CT. He stepped in when life got in the way, whether I let him know in advance or even when I didn't.
