Wow Angels score 4 in the 9th to tie it. Astros fans have to be pissed

Edit: I guess some confident Astros fans are happy as it keeps their division hopes alive

Why would they be pissed? They can still catch the Rangers for the AL West.

Yeah I just corrected myself. Considering the Astros woeful road record, I wouldn't be super confident of winning the last 2 games.

And the Angels take the lead. Glad I turned this one on. Baseball is awesome

yep. picked a good time to switch the baseball game from my stream of football games. i don't watch much non-Cubs baseball, but this has been a fun one in Arlington.

Angels finished this off, now things get super interesting as both division and WC tiebreakers become very realistic.

Astros win tonight:

-Astros and Angels win = divison tiebreaker

-Astros and Rangers win = Rangers win div, Astros WC

-Astros lose and Angels win = WC tiebreaker

-Astros lose and Rangers win = Rangers division, Astros WC

Astros lose tonight:

-Astros and Angels win = WC tiebreaker

-Astros and Rangers win = Rangers division, Astros WC

-Astros lose and Angels win = Rangers division, Angels WC

-Astros lose and Rangers win = WC tiebreaker

Scherzer could get to a 103 game score if he strikes out the last guy.

EDIT: He actually would have tied Wood with 105 if he struck out the last guy. As it ended up, second highest game score ever at 104.

What an impossibly vain thing for Buehrle to do.

Scherzer is one out from a no hitter and has struck out the last 9 hitters.

Scherzer finishes the no-hitter, and the Nats broadcast gets a clear "GET OFF THE FIELD ASSHOLES!" from the Met crowd.

15 years straight of 200 innings is awfully impressive. But no idea why he doesn't just pitch a normal start.

Because he went 6.2 IP yesterday.
