Why did we use Grimm up 7 runs again?

Maybe to keep him fresh? When is the last time we used him before today?

I believe 3 or 4 days ago. Been awhile.

Plus thanks to the time he's missed he's only pitched 36 innings going in to tonight's game.

Lol guys we can't hit home runs without the basket and the wind

6 wins. 1 loss. 9 wins. 3 losses. 6 wins. So much fun.

Just a cool +17 game stretch, no big deal

Lose tomorrow, then win nine more in a row?

We should win 21 of 25 more often.

If we do it again starting now we'll be 94-55

How many out of first would we be then?? Haha!

prolly like 5 ;(

Just checked the schedule if we make up the Pitt rain out in here the 25th game will be our last with Stl. So we would be probably 2-4 vs them and win the rest. So we are probably looking at 8.5 games out.

So ; ( for sure.

It feels like this team has never hit for the cycle

Grace is the last one right?

Remember when walker would've had one but he decided to homer instead of double vs Houston (iirc...going off memory after eleven years here)

i think this was clemens vs. prior, too

We've done half of what the 2013 Dodgers did right now. We're 21-4 in the last 25 and they had a 42-8 stretch that season. Went from 30-42 to 72-50. Very similar to ours in that they didn't have a crazy long win streak in there. Best they did was 10 straight.

13 straight quality starts for Arrieta. Last non-quality start came June 16th, when he lost to the Indians. That loss made his record 6-5. He's now 16-6. Not that wins matter much, but it's a testament to him pitching deep into games and extremely well.

We're clearly in the midst of a 27-game winning streak.
