I don't know why we don't go back to starting Wood until another option is available. I get that he's been good in the pen but there's probably like a 70% chance he pitches multiple innings today anyways. Might as well have him pitch those 4 innings when the game is 0-0 then when its 4-0 in the 3rd.

I don't know what a "Flande" is, but I guess I also don't really know what a "Dallas Beeler" is either, so this'll be interesting

I like that I've never heard of Flande OR the guy he is filling in for. That said, he'll probably throw a quality start.

Same exact day last year? Weird ass board.

 

Because of that I thought Beeler had been demoted and Wada was brought up to pitch on no-days rest. Which would still be better than Beeler pitching at all.
