Francoeur can't hit the ball unless you put it pretty much in that exact spot, so a bold move to do so

We signed Soriano bc he was good.. If he still was good now, he wouldn't have been a free agent on June 9th therefore he shouldn't be pitching in tied games late.

It is crazy to think that last year we were talking about our riches at shortstop with Castro being a stud, Baez destroying the minors and trading for the stud all-around Russell..

Castro will soon be hitting below .230.. Baez has shown a little rejuvenation after striking out more than Screech with Lisa, but our hope for him is "please don't be a bust," as opposed to "I can't wait to see him back!" The last guy on our list has shown the most promise and is our best defensive player on the field and we are forcing him to focus on defense as opposed to spending that time improving and developing his hitting, but hey it's ok, it's because the guy he's shifting to second base for is hitting .234, is excellent at hitting into double plays, and is a defensive liability at shortstop..

Just now catching up on the game. Did u guys talk about how bad a decision it was to leadoff an inning wit Schwarber pinch hitting and not double switch him in? Schwarber should have been batting in the 8th work the bases loaded instead of David [expletive] Ross

Two guys the Cubs should get:

Bryan Shaw: Cleveland

Jonathon Papelbon: we're looking at him.

Soriano is done. Much rather see Edwards

see him walk 7 batters per 9 innings pitched? no thanks.

He wouldn't be put in tight games. Better yet, he wouldn't be throwing 87 with no life.

Ok, wow.. I'm not even mad. Castro FLEW out.. And then I heard the dreaded words: it's up to David Ross.

As much as Maddon managed the hell out of the last game, he did many dumb things in this game: bunting, using Schwarber early, using Soriano before several other guys...
