Schwarber isn't going anywhere. 2 weeks til Montero is evaluated. Then probably 2 weeks til he's game ready, if he's OK to go then. That puts us into mid August. They can co-exist for 2 weeks if necessary.

Is this damn field made of rubber?

Aren't most warning tracks?

Isn't it just dirt?

You've got to be kidding me with that. That defies physics not being a homerun on that pitch, that swing, and a hot Soler. Like that Baez deep fly out against Chapman last year; still don't understand that one. Edited by Gilby

I want to just win a game 6-0 or something some time, is that too much to ask

Whoever it was that posted about how this schedule wont be a cakewalk for the Cubs because a lot of these bad teams can score runs and the Cubs can't is someone I agree with. The current Cubs can't really knock anyone out so each game is gonna be a dogfight like this.

It'd be nice if a couple players would go on a tear *at the same time* but I'm not holding out hope

I think whatever is under the dirt has a little more give/bounce than just regular ground

why wouldn't it just be regular ground?
