Somehow they've made sale throw 74 pitches already. Huh.

That's the good news. Bad news is the Cubs can't hit anyone.

Hey, they've got 3 hits and a walk off of him, too.

They can hit pitchers; they just have a lot of trouble for stretches actually driving the runners in.

How are the notoriously bad Sox defense playing so well? That's right...they're playing the Cubs

Huh? They're definitely not very good defensively, but they're essentially neck and neck with the Cubs when it comes to fielding.

The Sox are 29th in defensive efficiency and 30th by a healthy margin in UZR.

I've been on the phone the past 45 mins or so. Any word on Montero? How bad did the injury look?

I didn't see the play, but the official word is a jammed thumb.

Thanks. I guess that's good news.

UZR can smooch my big white butt. It's flimflam.

Coming into today, the White Sox had scored the fewest runs in baseball over the last thirty days.

We're even worse than that, it seems.

I'm starting to feel bad for Lester. People keep quoting pitcher w/l record and he's been pretty good with no wins.

Makes more sense to feel bad for those "quoting w/l record."

tbh at this point i'm rooting for the Cubs to go 27 straight innings with no runs against the majestically bad White SOx

I doubt that's going to happen. But that's only because I don't think tomorrow's games going to happen. And it's for the better. We really need that break. And by we, I mean we, not them.
