I feel bad for Starlin

Why exactly?

Not everyone hates him with a fiery passion.

I don't hate him. I don't even dislike him. Doesn't mean I know why someone would feel bad for him

He's struggling terribly and it's his first time being on a good team. He probably feels shitty about that. I dunno, I can see it I guess.

I'm surprised Maddon would go through three relievers in a 1-0 game and not use Grimm, but Motte keeps getting results.

I have no problem with going closer by committee the rest of the year. Eventually though I think Neil Ramirez is the guy that we should be seeing close games. He has the stuff to do so.

Man, I'm the opposite of some of you and I love seeing Motte go out these days.

Agreed. He's off my "pitchers that make me nervous when they come in" list

Meanwhile, 7/9 of the lineup is on my "hitter that makes me angry when they come up with runners on base" list.

Yeah, it really feels like the bullpen and offense slowly flip-flopped each other.

YOU CAN GO OUT TOGETHER, YOU CRAZY KIDS.

No matter how hard he throws (96.8 tonight) it seems like only a matter of time before his peripherals catch up to him if all he throws is 4-seamers. But the one he got the K on tonight was nasty - 90 MPH, either a hard slider or a ridiculous cutter. If he could command that pitch regularly, he could be tough to hit.
