Once he's back and playing, he'll spend some more time in the minors beyond his rehab assignment. Not quite a wasted season but he might take another 2-4 weeks after rehab to get to the big leagues.

It's already a wasted season. We can't trade Castro at the deadline because he isn't any good.

i also don't see why people wouldn't trade for him. he has a broken finger. that shouldn't affect his trade value.
