God [expletive] dammit

Hurts on so many levels.....

Damn near a wasted season for him, this happening right when he was putting it together. Extremely unlikely to be tradeable at deadline now. [expletive] this.

Wasted season? It sucks, but I wouldn't go that far if it's only a month.

If you can't trade Baez in July it's a wasted season

It's already a wasted season. We can't trade Castro at the deadline because he isn't any good.

I guess we can trade Hammel again. Maybe we can find a taker for Fowler.

I can't decide if this is serious and whether I should rage or not

That's extreme. You can still trade him in the winter.

i dont think baez should be the one getting traded at all

I agree with Truffle. I get why this could hurt his trade value a bit, and it certainly would have been nice to have a chance to show improvement at the major league level, but it's not a serious injury. Teams almost certainly already have a clear idea of what they're getting there.

In brighter news, Zagunis has become a daily must check name on the stat sheets. .877 OPS at Myrtle as a CF this season so far.

He's playing CF?? I thought he was just a LFer, as a CF he certainly is even more exciting

Son of a... He has been playing all over the OF, my apologies for the typo. Without a laptop for the next week or so. Such is the danger of relying on an iPad.

For those curious, he's at 13 games in LF, 4 in CF and 25 in RF (and 8 as DH).
