seriously, when was the last time you felt as confident about getting a good at bat out of a cubs player than you do about rizzo right now? Derrek Lee before the injury?

jim deshaies made a good point the other day - that opposing pitchers can throw rizzo a nasty slider or changeup just out of the zone, and rizzo isn't even flinching. it's like he's just seeing the ball crazy well out of the pitcher's hand.

No doubt, Rizzo has the look of a star up there. He's developed into much more of a complete hitter than I ever expected, certainly this quickly.

Yes; 01 Sammy before that.

Goodbye Mr Locke. It was nice watching you toss BP.

KB & Rizzo: You can't contain our dongs.

Locke: Don't tell me what I can't do!

KB & Rizzo: [unleashed the dongs]

I'm slowly getting back into the Cubs after taking a break from Baseball back in 07/08. I listened to XM broadcast of the game yesterday, and is it the same Ron Coomer as was our 3rd baseman for like a year in the early 00's?

I have no opinion of him as an announcer after only hearing 1 game, but talk about random color guy for the Cubs?
