why the [expletive] is it fading in & out like that

That's what the throbbing feels like when it's squeezed around someone's titanic melon.

Are there any hats that don't draw attention to the fact that my size 7 3/4 head is enormous?

I once had a hat vendor say, "[expletive], you have a big head".

I had to special order a bike helmet because I couldn't find one in store that would fit.

In little league, we always used to have to have one helmet designated specifically for me. Most years, there were a couple helmets I could force onto my head and be extraordinarily uncomfortable. But for a few years there, there was just the one helmet. And I would have to stop play and go get it if one of my teammates thought it would be funny to wear it and was still stuck on base when I'd be coming up to bat.

that is hilarious that your teammates would wander around the bases swimming in your giant helmet.

there was a kid on my high school team who had a giant head. i think someone said he had to have steroids when he was a baby and that caused it, but i don't know if that's true. anyway, our coach called around and couldn't get a helmet that would fit him. eventually, he ordered the biggest adjustable helmet he could find. adjusted all the way out, it still wouldn't fit, so then he took a knife and cut all the padding out of the inside. just the height of safety and comfort, i'm sure. he could squeeze it on to his head then, though. thank god he never got drilled.

i have gotten boring in my old age and now just wear a standard blue cubs hat. i like it a lot.

I bought the Cubs BP hat back in 2006 (darker blue than the regular cap and with the walking bear logo on it), and it's the only Cubs hat I own. I love it.

7 3/4? I wish my head was that small because at least you can find that size.. I usually have to get mine custom ordered at 8 1/4 or 3/8 depending on the hat. Although I haven't wore a hat in like 3 years because it's too much $$$.

8 3/8? Jesus, you must be 6' 10", 450 lbs.

In one of the high school plays that I was in, I played the "preacher" in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Part of the costume was a black hat. They had to cut it up the back to get it to fit on my head.

Yes, this is much better.

I picked up an all powder blue with a royal blue brim and the 60s-70s Cub bear logo on the front.

dying to know what you guys think of the all star hats

If you mean the pillbox hats, I believe I saw Paul Lukas of Uni Watch say those aren't real.
