Hammel keeps us close; we don't score much against Harvey, but we do run up his pitch count and get him out after six; we win the game off the Mets pen, 3-2.

We've had terrible teams beat up on us... why should we, who are a good team, have any trouble with other good teams?

Or does this mean they're actually one of the terrible teams that fans of good teams complain that they can't beat?

What bad teams have we lost to other than the brewers?

Isn't that the only bad team we've played or will play for awhile?

Edit: Nevermind the Rockies suck now.

I want to start Harvey on draft kings cause he'll probably have 20 strike outs today, but I just cant do it. I have faith. We can beat him.

Harvey will get his K's, but as long as we have Bryant and Rizzo in the same lineup, there will be chances to score.

It's just a bad matchup to me. This teams biggest problem isnt the bullpen to me, its a failure to make consistent contact. A lot of that Cardinals "luck" comes from them just putting the ball in play a lot. BUT - I know we'll start to do that more as the rooks get some more experience.

[expletive] putting the ball in play. Hit it hard or not at all.

Reds kinda suck

And we are 6-2 against those teams. So again, what are these bad teams we've lost to other than the Brewers?

to be clear, this is the nonsense I was responding to:

Its so true, seems like aside from the Cardinals and Padres this year we lose to the bad teams pretty badly.

Cards/Padres both series we were in nearly every game till the end.
