Chinese food sucks. That's the ballgame.

this is an understandable sentiment from someone who lives in iowa

Best Chinese food I ever had was in Aberdeen, Scotland. It probably had less to do with the Chinese food itself, but rather had more to do with the fact that British food is inedible for the most part and so I had to resort to Chinese food for something to eat.

except the lactose or shellfish intolerant

i like crab rangoon best when it's got a really high cream cheese to "crab" ratio

also, if you live in chicago (or i guess wherever) post the yelp from the place you order from so i can maybe try it

i've been ordering from this place lately. not bad and decently priced.

Chinese food in Chicago is mostly a shocking abomination for a city of that size (in both scale and fatness); while I was there I only found two places who would deliver to me or I could get to that consistently were at least OK:

This place was mostly junk but it was at least edible junk, and their noodles were good as hell:

This place is [expletive] amazing; it's been there for decades, it has the vibe of a sleazy Chinese mafia lounge, and the food is awesome. Sadly, it's kinda pricey, but worth trying:
