Quite the opposite, I'm talking about the shrieking about Schlitter from the moment he started warming up.

 

Because he's not good and has never been good and has consistently allowed runs to score.

I don't think it's crazybuckets to ask our 9th-best reliever who is only here because of multiple injuries not be used in high-leverage situations.

 

Rondon, Strop, and Rosscup are not options today, so you're got Schlitter, Coke, Germen, Motte, and Jaxon to get you through the game. None of those are terrific options, and considering the circumstances you'd want to maximize your chance at a double play, which is Schlitter all the way.

I didn't know there was a rule against ever using relievers three days in a row, and Schlitter should be behind at least three of those guys.
